In 1967, Shelby American built one 427-powered GT500 “Super Snake” for Mel Burns Ford. Carroll Shelby drove it at the Goodyear test track for a tire promotion and reached a top speed of 170 mph.

In 2010 Shelby Automobiles continues to bring you the Shelby GT500 Super Snake package for your existing Shelby GT500. The upgrade will offer several performance options, 750 HP and sleek looks only Shelby can bring you based on Ford’s exciting new GT500 design. This package is limited in volume.
