In 1968 Bob Tasca, Sr. revolutionized the Ford high performance world with the invention of the Cobra Jet. The Cobra Jet quickly asserted its dominance on the road and on the track, becoming one of the most iconic high performance vehicles of all time. Ford paid tribute to this rich history with the introduction of the 2008 Cobra Jet. This limited run purpose-built race car was followed by the more powerful 2010 Cobra Jet.
The Tasca family legacy of high performance on the street and on the strip continues today. Carl Tasca, Sr. continues the rich family tradition with his 2008 and 2010 Cobra Jets, currently holding the quickest and fastest recorded runs in the country with both cars. Over forty years later, Bob Tasca, Sr.’s vision of dominant Ford performance is alive and well.
